A record in digital in 2023

France Médias Monde (RFI, France 24, and Monte Carlo Doualiya) announces yet another record-breaking year in digital in 2023, with 3.7 billion video views and audio starts across all platforms (+7% vs 2022)*, and a digital footprint reaching 88 billion contacts every week. The Group logged nearly 500 ^million visits on their proprietary environments.

On social networks, RFI, France 24, and MCD continue to expand their communities, amassing a total of 113 million subscribers (YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Telegram)***. This growth is particularly driven by the communities on YouTube (+15%) and Instagram (+12%).

The two “Pureplayer” offerings developed by France Médias Monde, in partnership with its counterpart Deutsche Welle, have reached new records in 2023:

ENTR, the 100% video and 100% social networks offer for young Europeans: 117 million video views (+109% vs 2022).

InfoMigrants, the information website for migrants, developed with Deutsche Welle and ANSA: 194 million video views in 2023 (+160% vs 2022).

These outstanding results confirm the success of France Médias Monde’s global digital strategy, which aims to develop offers adapted to all users and all platforms, attracting and retaining new users across all environments and social networks. France Médias Monde extended its broadcast since the end of 2023 on WhatsApp, already amassing more than 5.5 million subscribers across all channels, making it the most powerful platform for media in France, combining all media outlets.
